YOUR IMPACT AT CIRCULA
As an AI Engineer at Circula, you’ll be at the forefront of building the intelligent systems that power our next generation of expense management. You’ll design scalable data and ML infrastructure, develop high-impact models, and bring AI features into production that genuinely solve real-world accounting and finance pain points. From model architecture to observability, you’ll help shape how AI flows through our product ecosystem from day one.
Responsibilities:
Challenge the status quo and rethink how AI can transform the finance and accounting world.
Build AI/ML products that make you the messiah for accountants, delivering magical automation where it matters most.
Architect a scalable data platform, because true AI supremacy starts with data.
Fine-tune LLMs and train ML models on our most precious data to achieve levels of accuracy others can only dream of.
Set up strong observability and model management infrastructure so we stay on top of our AI game at all times.
Shape expense management from day one by solving real pain points with intelligent automation.
YOUR TALENTS FOR CIRCULA
Qualifications. You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Pythonista, a strong background in AI, Machine Learning or Data Engineering and you have hands-on experience building and operating production-grade systems.
System Design. You understand that strong architecture is the backbone of effective AI. You bring solid system design skills and know how to build scalable, reliable and maintainable services, especially in fast-moving AI environments.
Cloud Expertise. You’re highly proficient in GCP or AWS and ideally bring experience in data engineering, distributed systems or modern data platform components.
Observability. Monitoring, evaluation, and transparency are core to how you build. You design with observability in mind from day one to ensure models and services run stably and predictably.
Pace & Adaptability. You thrive in dynamic environments and adapt quickly to new developments. AI moves fast and so do you.
Tech-Leverage. You actively use AI tools to accelerate your workflow, increase your output quality and create real 10x impact in your engineering work.
Ownership. You take responsibility in uncharted territory. With AI/ML best practices still being defined, you operate independently, with curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset to help shape what comes next.
Language. You communicate fluently and confidently in English and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
