As the Private Equity Lead, you will enable investors to leverage Workato to boost growth and operational efficiency in their portfolio companies. Utilizing your executive influence and previous experience in the domain, you will develop strategic engagements with investor stakeholders and operating partners to enhance the value Workato delivers to their business and portfolio clients to drive growth.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth through collaboration with private equity stakeholders.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

    Develop strategic partnerships with operating partners to execute sales strategies and drive the adoption of Workato within portfolio companies of private equity firms.

    Lead and develop a portfolio of Private Equities by deeply understanding growth drivers, identifying growth opportunities, managing risks, and developing multi-quarter achievement plans.

    Engage and influence executive stakeholders at various levels (e.g., General Partners, Vice Presidents, C-level executives) across diverse functions, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, within both internal and external ecosystems to drive the growth of new and existing business, while prioritizing and delivering exceptional sales experiences.

    Work with internal teams (e.g. marketing, SI and ISV channels, sales, customer success) to align on strategic priorities and deliver a unified experience for Private Equity partners and their portfolio companies.

    Lead and shape the private equity program by being a thought partner for investors and startups on strategic initiatives and investor-level planning.

    Represent Workato in industry events to increase exposure of the value of our platform to Private Equities and their portfolio companies.

    Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline development and revenue generation.

    Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in the private equity sector to identify new opportunities for partnership and growth.

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

    A minimum of 5 years selling SaaS products to and through the Private Equity sector.

    Experience presenting to C-level executives.

    Experience in complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

    Hold a Master's or other advanced degree.

    Takes a consultative approach to strategically assess and achieve success

    Deep understanding of investor business models and startup development to identify growth opportunities.

    Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.
