Job Description

Responsibilities

Technical: Verify the completeness and accuracy of technical content

  • Create and maintain the online help files and user guides with new feature updates. Write

    easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides

  • Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications

  • Create and publish high-quality and effective customer-focused documentation (such as user

    guides, release notes, and context-sensitive Help) by adopting a corporate style guide

  • Participate in technical and functional review meetings

  • Coordinate with peer writers and editors to complete the review process on the document

    deliverables

  • Document new products, platforms, and features

  • Write release notes and support documentation

  • Learn product functionalities and assess documentation scope through intensive research and

    close collaboration with various business groups, in addition to estimating the level of effort

    for documentation tasks

  • Gather information from team meetings, product specifications, interviews with subject-matter

    experts, and direct interaction with systems

  1. Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Bring a perspective that will aid in translating technical process and jargon to end-user

    • Very strong grasp on English as a language, and writing

    • Strong vocabulary and sentence structuring knowledge

    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Confluence

    • Any graduation with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of technical writing experience

    • Having domain knowledge OR prior experience as Technical Writer in any of the domain: ERP,

      Cloud-based, SAAS is good to have

    • Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation

    • Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail

 

  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures

  • University degree in Computer Science, or Communication

  • Preferred Skills

  • 3+ years, with relevant experience in the content/documentation/learning industry

  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment

  • Very strong communication skills

  • Work independently and rapidly to meet tight deadlines
